You can’t outsource leadership - but you can be supported in it

What got you here... won’t get you there
When you first started your business, leadership probably wasn’t on your radar. You were too busy doing the work, finding clients, and figuring out how the hell Xero works.
You wore every hat, said yes to every job, and learned as you went.
It worked - until it didn’t.
Because the things that helped you survive the early years?
They’re the same things keeping you stuck now.
Doing it all yourself isn’t a badge of honour.
It’s a bottleneck.
And if you’re serious about building a business that runs beyond your capacity, it’s time to stop winging it and actually step into your leadership role.
But here’s the thing no one tells you:
😬You can’t outsource leadership.
😬You are the leader - whether you feel ready or not.
😬But you don’t have to do it alone.
The DIY trap
Let’s talk about the classic mistake:
👏🏼You finally decide to get help.
👏🏼You hire a VA.
👏🏼You give them some admin tasks and hope it’ll magically buy you time.
Except... it doesn’t.
Because you haven’t actually led.
You haven’t created structure, clarified expectations, or defined your own role - let alone anyone else’s.
So you end up managing them while still doing all the real work.
And then you say:
“It’s just easier if I do it myself.”
Take a moment for a silent hands-up if you have ever said that - it’ll be quicker/easier if I do it myself.
That’s not easier. That’s broken.
Hiring without leadership isn’t delegation - it’s just chaos with a side of guilt.
Leadership isn’t a title - it’s a decision
Most women don’t feel ready to lead.
We’ve been taught to be good workers, not decision-makers.
So when it’s time to lead a team, we default back to:
✖️Over-explaining
✖️Overcompensating
✖️And overworking to avoid “being bossy”
Sound familiar?
Here’s the reframe:
Leadership isn’t about being loud.
It’s about being CLEAR.
It’s not about being better than your team (and you don’t want to be).
It’s about creating the container for them to do their best work - without you having to hold their hand every five seconds.
You don’t need to know everything.
But you do need to take ownership of your role.
What leadership actually looks like (hint: it’s not a Pinterest quote)
Real leadership looks like:
✨Knowing what’s yours to do - and what’s not
✨Creating structure so people can succeed
✨Giving feedback without spiralling into people-pleasing
✨Making decisions with intention, not reaction
✨Building a business that doesn’t collapse when you take a damn holiday
Leadership isn’t the extra work on top of the “real” work.
It IS the work.
And it’s what frees you up to get out of the weeds and actually enjoy your business again.
So... how do you lead when you’ve never been shown how?
That’s exactly why we built our leadership community.
It’s not another group where you talk about your goals and leave with nothing to action.
It’s a practical space designed for women in business who are building teams - or want to - and want to do it without becoming a micro-managing nightmare.
We support you to:
✔ Define your role as the leader (and finally let go of the rest)
✔ Build structure around your team so they’re not dependent on you
✔ Get clear on what to delegate, when, and how
✔ Lead with clarity and confidence, even when things go wrong
✔ Step out of the ‘overworked founder’ trap and into a business you actually enjoy running
Why this matters now
Waiting until you’re drowning isn’t leadership - it’s survival.
And if we’re being real?
Too many women wait until they’re at breaking point before they ask for help. We just do. Whether it’s from guilt, or the feeling of “everyone else seems to be able to do it solo, so I must be able to as well”, or we’re just so busy doing the stuff, that we don’t even notice that it’s happening.
The longer you go without proper leadership support, the more time you spend stuck in firefighting mode - answering every question, covering for gaps, and wondering why it still feels so bloody hard when you’ve done “all the right things.”
Here’s the truth:
You don’t need to overhaul everything by tomorrow.
You just need the space, structure, and support to start doing things differently - one step at a time.
That’s exactly why our leadership community exists - not as another shiny thing on your to-do list, but as the place to take a breath and build what’s next with intention.
No “CEO vibes”.
No corporate BS.
Just women in business learning how to lead well - without burning out doing it.
Let’s talk about support - not more strategy
Because if strategy alone worked, you wouldn’t still feel like you’re stuck doing everything yourself.
You’ve done the courses.
You’ve read the books.
You’ve downloaded the templates and planners and tried to copy other people’s systems.
But leadership?
It’s not a template. It’s a skill.
And no one builds it in isolation.
Inside our leadership space, we focus on what actually makes a difference:
🧠Monthly sessions that don’t waste your time
💬Space to bring your questions and get straight answers
📂Real tools to help you delegate, restructure, and lead with more clarity
👯♀️And a community that doesn’t need a LinkedIn post to prove they’re doing it right
This isn’t about manifesting your dream business.
It’s about building one - brick by brick, with the right support behind you.
Ready to do it differently?
If you want to:
✔️Feel like a leader - not just a doer
✔️Have a team that can function without you micromanaging every task
✔️Lead with structure, clarity, and confidence (even on the messy days)
✔️Build a business that works without costing you your sanity
Then this is your sign to stop trying to lead alone.
Leadership is yours - but it doesn’t have to be lonely.
If you're curious about how the leadership community can support you, send us a DM or check out the details on our site. We'll talk you through whether it’s the right fit - no pressure, no nonsense.
Because you can’t outsource leadership - but you can absolutely be supported in it.
